Treking Mojanda & Fuya Fuya

Day 1

08.00 am depart from hotel Cotacachi, towards the path of lagoons de Mojanda, for from there Ascend towards the volcano Fuya -Fuya, during the ascent to the peak Fuya – Fuya. It will see a wide variety of flora and fauna, as well as also from the top we can see a panoramic view if the weather allows the province of Imbabura and Pichincha.

After lunch to go community hotel which is in the Cotacachi Kichwa.

The trekking will take us about 4-5 hours.

Cotopaxi 2 Days 1 Night Hiking

Itinerary

Day 1:

Departure from Quito at 10:00 am to the Refuge of 4800m / Cotopaxi During the route to the Cotopaxi refuge we will be able to observe paramo animals such as horses, bulls, birds, rabbits, condors and foxes. The parking lot is at 4500 meters above sea level, from where we will start a 300-meter walk to the refuge. Before sunset we have dinner and try to sleep until 11:30 pm to start our adventure to the Cotopaxi tayta.

Day 2:

The moment to start the summit of the Cotopaxi tayta at 5897msm after 6 to 7 hours of ascent we can observe the route of the Ecuador volcanoes, reach the first rays of the sun to enjoy the magnificent colors and panoramic views. We return from in 2 to 3 hours for the descent. summit towards the refuge to take our bags and move towards Quito
